The facebook algorithm is like life

Life is a lot like the facebook algorithm. The more I ‘like’ posts from a particular person or company, the more these people and companies pop up in priority in my stream and dominates the rest of the feed. That’s just how modules work. The more we feed certain urges, the stronger the signal (emotion), and the more the desire takes precedence in our life. Folks, think an extra second before you ‘like’ something, both on facebook and in life. This moment of awareness may free you up to pay attention to the things that really matter to you.

Or, ‘like’ the stuff that matters more often. Don’t take family, friends, etc for granted.

Then your attention is off of the online liking et al.
